Leaving Note Pads Behind as Promotional Gifts!
Using Promotional Gifts as leave behinds such as note pads can do alot for your busniess. When you leave your office always stick a hand full of note pads in your pocket. In fact you should have note pads in your pocket at all times. Try this for a month, everywhere possible leave a note pad with your logo and contact information behind. when at a resturaunt when you check out leave a note pqad on the counter. If you stop at the auto parts store on a saturday, leave a note pad or two on the counter.
You want to leave Promotional Gifts everywhere you can. Make a game of it, in your mind or better yet with a business cohort, see how many places you can leave note pads, maybe have a prize for who can leave note pads at the most places in a month. Dentist office, Doctors office, the video store, the school the hair salon, every retail establishment you visit, every place of business you are in leave note pads.
Other ideas to create brand awareness or to grow your busniess to make sure your logo has a stong presence and the contact information on each pad is ledgeable and easy to read. If you have a company slogan then add that as well. Further when having your note pads printed add a call to action, something like bring this note pad in for a 10% savings on your first purchase. Give them a reason to contact you or come into your place of business, these business promotional gifts will score you some nice business.
I prefer the 3" x 3" adhesive note pads with either 25 or 50 sheet pads. If you are leaving a large number of note pads in the consumers hands I would go with the 25 sheet note pads. These note pads are great promotional gifts, very economical and are a sure fire method to bring you new business and build a brand image.

Exhibiting at a Trade show is expensive. Giving away note pads as promotional gifts will help you in several ways. First it will get something into your potential customers hands to walk away with, second it might give a potential customer a reason to visit your booth, third later on when your note pads are laying on that persons desk it might give them a reason to call or contact you, forth it gives something to write on while they are walking the show, each time seeing your name and reminding them of your company.
I have personally given out note pads as promotional gifts at our trade shows and seem many times someone writing down a note at another booth on our note pads. I see people lend there note pads for others to use and again another impression of your company name to another individual. Everytime someone sees your company name it is good for you, it builds brand image, brand awareness, it instills in there mind another image of your company and this is all good.
You can leave these business promotional gifts, your note pads stacked out on a table for easy access or you can only give them out by hand so you have contact with each person or you can hold out and only give them to people you think will use your company in the future. Part of this should be determined by the type of business you are in. For instance if you are in a business that caters to the average consumer you would want your note pads in as many hands as possible and leaving them out on the table is best. But maybe you are in a limited manufactoring business, maybe you build a specialized hay baler with a very limited clientel then maybe handing them out to customers or potential customers as you show your implement at the booth would be most cost efficient.
One other thing you might do with these promotional gifts to get your name in front of the attendees is if your trade show has a conference associated with it see if they will be getting a promotional tote bag or promotional writing padfolio and see if you can insert your note pads so each attendee has someting with your compny name on it and later on when they get back home or to the office and go through there bag or note book they will see your note pad and use it giving you some nice exposure.
